The V Seven Furion Muzzle Brake is a next generation muzzle brake which redirects muzzle blast to reduce muzzle rise and therefore reduces accuracy, as well as, the overall felt recoil of the weapon. Redirecting muzzle blast reduces time-lag as well as the felt recoil of the gun. Also, the redirection of the muzzle blast reduces the amount of noise associated with recoil, as well as, muzzle climb. One of the primary benefits of the V Seven Furion Muzzle Brake is that it functions as a flash hider, which reduces the muzzle climb to zero, which gives the shooter the ability to sight targets more easily without causing excessive wear on the gas piston system. The Furion muzzle brake can also function as an effective handguard, if the shooter so desires, by leaving the handguard off. When a flash hider is installed, muzzle climb is reduced as the recoil load is more fully compressed inside the body of the muzzle brake. This minimizes muzzle lift and therefore, accuracy, in rapid fire situations and allows the shooter to see his target more clearly. Due to the lack of wear inside the muzzle brake, heat build up is kept to a minimum.
