The all-new PROSTAFF P5 elevates hunting Rifle Scope performance through a combination of proprietary Nikon optical design, superior glass, durable materials and over 100 years of innovation. Engineered for minimum weight and maximum durability, Nikon builds the PROSTAFF P5 Rifle Scopes one-inch main tube, zoom ring, focusing eyepiece and turret caps from aircraft-grade aluminum. Matched knurling on all controls is ergonomically designed for visual appeal and increased grip during use. PROSTAFF P5 models feature a versatile 4x zoom ratio that offers the wide field of view needed for close-up shots or moving targets and the increased image detail that comes with higher magnifications. Long-range PROSTAFF P5 models feature a turret-mounted side focus parallax adjustment to enable fine-tuning of the sight image without changing shooters position.
The new PROSTAFF P5 line offers models with the newly designed MK1-MOA reticle, as well as the popular BDC and Nikoplex reticles. The MK1-MOA reticle can be used to estimate range, target size, elevation holdover and wind-drift at the designated magnification. The asymmetrical design allows for additional holdover for extreme distances. All Nikon reticles can be optimized for any caliber or load with Spot On Ballistic Technology.
