Most Helpful Positive Review Nikon Quality and Value
Interchangeable turrets with Nikon Spot On Custom Turrets (Option). Solid 1” tube, spring loaded instant zero turrets. Excellent eye relief in the 2.5-10x42, with ‘no’ tunnel vision effect. The Nikoplex reticle is absolutely perfect with a nice cross hair; most likely the best duplex reticle I’ve seen.. Knurled turret caps (Aluminum), and aluminum zoom ring are a benefit in cold weather which provide easy access. The scope is enhanced with laser etched logos, ‘Nikon’, and ‘P’. The finish is extremely durable and seems to be well constructed quality in fit and finish. The glass is not ED glas...

Great Scope

I put this on a 270 Ruger, and used it for elk hunting--worked great at 170 yds No problems with accuracy after many rounds at the range and the 1 lucky shot in the field during the hunt. Clear lens all during the heavy fog.
Wonder why it was discontinued and what replaced it ?

best scope fir tge money hands down

I bought this d ole to go on my new weatherby 308. I have shot a marlin 30/30 Nothing wrong with that gun but wanted something g I could reach out with. I k we the rifle was no issue it’s the scope that could make it break. Shot two deer with this set up. One was ranged at 188 yards, the other ranged 201. Scope was crystal clear and on the mark. I would buy another if I can find one. Great job Nikon

Good scope for the money

I have used Nikon rifle scopes going back to the original Monarch series and have switched to them exclusively the past decade. The simple reason is that they provide excellent optics and reliable adjustment comparable to more expensive brands. I heard a rumor that Nikon is abandoning the rifle scope business, so I bought a spare for just in case. I would like to know why Nikon would make such a decision. I have not used this item yet, but I will be amazed if it does not continue to perform as expected.

I am very pleased with this scope. good clarity and eye relief. I previously purchased and returned a much more expensive scope. This nikon has much better eye relief and clarity.I would highly recommend this scope.

Nice Glass

This is a nice piece of glass for the cost. My eyes don't allow perfect focus any longer but this scope does the job. Can't beat the price for a Brand name. I have a 4-16 on the way for my little CZ. No hng up in shipping even during the massive life changing outbreak.

Great Scope

This is an excellent scope at retail price and even better at the discounted price that optics planet offers. Don't let the fact that its made in the Philippines dissuade you, this scope has better glass than an older Leupold I have that was twice the price. The BDC reticle is also great for longer range shooting or hunting.

Works good, but the image when I bought it showed flip up covers, does not come with them though. The glass looks pretty comparable the monarch 3s I have... not sure I would notice the difference if I’m being totally honest.

Great hunting scope

Glass is clear, good eye relief and solid adjustment clicks. Power ring is easy to rotate and I have not checked tracking yet. Delivery was on time. Optics Planet, you have a very satisfied customer here.
