WHY DID WE MAKE THIS SPOTTING SCOPE?

We wanted to develop a backcountry hunting spotter with all the advantages of an HD optical system and none of the sticker shock. With the increased objective lens diameters and updated magnification options, the new Diamondback HD spotting scopes strike an excellent balance between optical quality, size, weight, and packability.

The Diamondback HD has excellent resolution, and will appear very similar to the Viper HD at low magnification. The Viper HD and the Razor HD will ultimately offer better resolution throughout the magnification range, and will progressively have less chromatic aberration as you move up through the models.
