As the name suggests, the VISM KeyMod Triangle AR Handguard is a triangle handguard whereas the triangular shape maintains the original factory size of the KeyMod rail. With that said, the triangle handguard is much larger than the original and is more spacious. The handguard is also much lighter weight since the handguard is constructed largely of aluminum and has a black anodized finish.
