Very Pleased
I was looking for a lightweight handguard for my carbine that was flexible in what could be attached to it. The factor that most affected my decision most was the extended length past the front sight. This allows me to move my front grip forward which works well for me. I also am able to attach a QR attachment on the side for my QR sling. How it looks is just the icing on the cake. Overall, I am very pleased.

Quite surprised...
Considering it's an NC Star product I wasn't very optimistic but figured it was worth checking out. I'm very pleased with it. it is solid construction and has a very decent finish. The fit works very well for an A2 sight with the sling ring fitting nicely through the bottom slot and no impediment to the bayonet lug - I did fit a bayonet with it installed with no problem at all. The traingular shape of it is also very comfortable to the forward hand. I give it a well deserved 5 stars and will buy more of them. I used a round end cap with it but it will fit a traingular one also. I checked.
