The Vixen ED103S 103mm Telescope and Porta II Mount 5865P2 gives excellent optical performance with a short telescope tube for easy handling. Paired with the Vixen Porta II mount you have a quality pick up and go combination. A great start up package. The Vixen 5865P2 ED103S Telescope has the combination of better color correction from the new ED glass and brighter images from it's fast f/7.7 focal ratio to satisfy the most demanding visual astronomer or astro-photographer. The telescope optical tube is very stable yet light weight With the adaptability of the Vixen system you can have the best of both worlds by just moving the scope from one mount to another.
