Product Info for Vixen ED103S Telescopes 103mm and GP2 Mount w/ Optional STAR Book-S

The Vixen ED103S Refractor Telescopes 103mm and GP2 Mount 99543 - 99542 focuses the full visible spectrum of light to a critical point much more accurately than past ED products. The Vixen ED103S telescope lenses are almost free of chromatic aberration in all colors and are critically sharp edge to edge. The astro-photographer will be especially pleased with the high contrast images through this refractor telescope. With newly designed high definition ED lenses, this refractor telescope gives crisp pinpoint star images while still using the newest environmentally friendly glass. The GP2 equatorial mount comes standard with tripod and counterweight. It is easy to use and functions well for both the visual observer and astrophotography. The declination and right-ascension functions with 144-tooth aluminum worm gears allow accurate tracking. Telescope tube motion is controlled by included control knobs for accurate slewing.
