The Vixen R200SS 200mm Telescope with Vixen Sphinx Mount 2742 has a remarkably fast 200mm (8") f/4 parabolic primary mirror in the Vixen R200SS Newtonian Reflector Telescope gives extremely sharp images with no chromatic aberration. The use of state-of-the-art multi coating technology yields the ideal surface for its f/4 primary mirror. The visual observer will enjoy wide views of deep sky objects. Actual groups of nebula or clusters can be viewed at the same time with this instrument. The Telescopes 's large aperture and compact body make it ideally suited for Telescopesof nebulae, star clusters and comets. The use of the optional coma corrector on this Vixen Telescope allows for a sharp coma-free image from edge to edge, and the rack and pinion focusing mount, with an adapter, accepts 2 eyepieces. The Vixen R 200SS telescope comes standard with the 7x50 finderscope, 232mm tube rings, dovetail tube plate and new focus design with more distance f or photographic equipment, as well as being compatible with the new Vixen Sphinx SXW Mount 2502. The 7x50 achromatic finder has a field of view of 6.8" and a Kellner type eyepiece.
