If the BX-Trigger is the first thing you should do to a Ruger 10/22, the Volquartsen Bolt Tune-Up Kit and Auto Bolt Release is the second. This bundle basically cures all the annoying "quirks" that come standard with the rifle.

Enables the shooter to simply pull the bolt back slightly to release it. This eliminates the need to push up on the bolt lock mechanism to release the bolt. This is an easy drop-in installation. Available in silver or black.
Please note: bolt release is only compatible with Volquartsen and Ruger factory bolts and trigger guards, including the BX-Trigger. It is not compatible with other manufacturers parts.
