Auto boot release
Easy to install machined very well and has a nice edge on the end for a precise strike. Haven't shot with it yet but everything fit together very well and I have no reason to believe it won't function.
nice upgrade
Easy install everything works as it should. Installs quickly. Bought kit to upgrade bolt release.

Great upgrade
If the BX-Trigger is the first thing you should do to a Ruger 10/22, the Volquartsen Bolt Tune-Up Kit and Auto Bolt Release is the second. This bundle basically cures all the annoying "quirks" that come standard with the rifle.

Immediate Improvement
Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy almost instant upgrade for my 25 year old Ruger 10/22. My extractor had worn out and this one is a champ! The auto bolt release works like charm. The topper was a great price for the three pieces for the price of two.
Pros:
- Great Price for a combo, quality product, ease of upgrade
Cons:
- Must be able to remove and replace the parts
Best Used for:
- Upgrade 10/22

Works as advertised
All 3 parts easy to install and make rifle function flawlessly. No failures to eject, no jams, and reliable return to battery. Highly recommend.

Sensible Upgrade
Bought this component group as part of an upgrade project for a basic 10/22. This grouping is a good value and is an easy install. If you don’t know your way around a 10/22’s internals, there are plenty of YouTube videos for reference. Product quality is excellent and function is flawless.

A must for any 10/22
The firing virtually eliminated light strike issues on cheap range 22 ammo. The auto bolt release is a must have for any 10/22 idk why Ruger just doesn’t do this from factory and the extractor eliminated any feed/extracting issues I would have intermittently

great product
Fixed issues my 10/22 was having with ejecting empties. Parts look great and work better then expected and easy to install if you have taken your ruger apart before. I would recommend this to every ruger 10/22 owner.

No Failure To Eject After 500 Rrounds (so far)
Installation is easy (especially if you have the right tools).
Auto Bolt Release:
I don't know enough history to know why the bolt doesn't just release when cocked like most modern firearms; but Ruger should just implement it but doesn't - more money for third parties.
Extractor:
I have decade-old 10/22 that fails to eject every dozen or so - regardless of the brand, type, or powder since day 1.
I replaced the extractor and haven't had an FTE in 500 rounds. With my luck, it will do so next range day.
Firing Pin:
Can't really comment, since I haven't experienced enough failure to fire that wasn't remedied by rotating the round 180 degrees. All the strikes were deep, so I've always chalked it up to the ammo.
After the experiment, I immediately installed the upgrades on my takedown.
