Great tripod for the average hunter. If you extend out the legs completely, you start to lose stability. Love the quick release plate. It detaches smoothly and is still stable enough to hold a heavy spotting scope.

I was worried throwing a 20-60x80 diamond back spotting scope would be too heavy. Not at all fits perfect. I think anything bigger might be to cumbersome for hunting. Lots of ways to move and adjust the scope. Great buy
