How does it adapt to a non threaded barrel . Featured Answer

Most of the factory barrels are threaded, but it doesn’t extend past the slide so it’s not so obvious.This adapts the factory 8mm threads to 1/2-28.

I ordered the same product from WALTHER which had the same picture as above and they sent me a gen 2 adapter �. Is THIS product the gen 1 adapter? Expert Answer

We get this part directly from Walther, so we would most likely receive the Gen 2 version if they are no longer making the Gen 1 version.
