I have a JC Higgins model 50. The front holes are .86 apart but the rear is .5 are these bases both spaced at .860? Expert Answer

The Warne Maxima Steel Rifle-Scope Base - 2 piece base for J.C. Higgins will not fit a J.C. Higgins Model 50. The Warne Maxima Steel Rifle-Scope Base - 2 piece base for J.C. Higgins will fit the J.C. Higgins Model 51 which has the correct hole spacing.

Bought these for my JC Higgins 30-06. The rifle came with a Weaver K3 scope. I wanted to mount a newer Leupold scope on it, but the stock mounts are to small for newer scope rings. These mounts fit perfect.
