Most Helpful Positive Review Not all JC Higgins Model 50 have this hole spacing
I purchased this base for my JC Higgins Model 50. Apparently, not all of these rifles were set up with the same configuration. My rifle has a rear hole spacing of .500, not .860. My fault, I should have measured first. Other than not fitting, this base seems to be of good quality.

Perfect Fit

If you are looking to ad a modern scope to your J.C. Higgins Model 50 rifle, these scope bases are perfect! no drilling necessary and they come with the T15 set screws needed to affix the bases to your rifle (you will need your own T15 driver, but Warne provided one with the scope rings i purchased) they are well machined and so far i love the grouping i’m getting with my new scope at the range.

  • J.C. Higgins Model 50

Go-to bases

Without question, Warne is my choice for any two-piece base for all of my rifles. This product exceeds all of my expectations and I cannot find anything that I would change or improve upon. These things are solid- set them and forget them.

Warne scope base

Bought these for my JC Higgins 30-06. The rifle came with a Weaver K3 scope. I wanted to mount a newer Leupold scope on it, but the stock mounts are to small for newer scope rings. These mounts fit perfect.

Great quality

Well made and a perfect fit my rifle very well. Arrived ahead of schedule and paged nicely..the angle on the corners are great as scope mount fit tight and secure. This getting annoying as I do not need to say more but optics planet keeps prompting me to say more. I hope this is enough.
