Typically, a riflescope with a 50mm objective lens will use a high ring on a rifle with a standard barrel that tapers towards the muzzle.

General guidelines are
Low - 40mm
Medium - 44mm
High - 50mm
Extra-high - 56mm

Did not tighten down as much as I would expect. I used on a .22 caliber rifle. should work fine for this but would not recommend for higher caliber rifles. Pros: good price Cons: doesnt seem secure for high powered rifles
