Fox Knives and Wilson Combat have paired up with designer and custom knife maker Tashi Bharucha to bring forth the EDC-X frame lock flipper tactical folder.
The EDC-X features the modern, clean lines and ergonomic design Tashi is known for and Fox has executed the design with Italian quality construction and precision fit and finish from premium materials like aerospace titanium and Bohler ELMAX stainless steel while Wilson Combats X-TAC pattern offers a solid grip. The stout frame lock with replaceable steel insert and a nearly seamless titanium back spacer gives this knife a solid "Integral-like" feel and amazing strength when locked open. The fast opening EDC-X is the ideal size for an "every day carry" defensive or tactical folder and will be a superb companion to your Wilson Combat pistol.
The blade of the EDC-X is made from Bohler ELMAX stainless with a satin or black finish and is fully flat ground for powerful cutting power. The point drops from spine to edge along a polished swedge that catches the eye and creates a fine yet robust tip. The flipper and plunge line follow the lines of the handle creating a clean and elegant look. A moderate detent provides enough tension to give the EDC-X a glass smooth, fast and decisive flipper deployment on its ball bearing thrust pivot.
