Put this on a Kimber. A bit tight but not too tight. Put it on your slide a twist it to check for fit before assembling the first time, but outside of that, it does it’s job. There is a video on Wilson’s website showing it being put together and ...

This item, I am sure, is great for most 1911s. However, this will not fit a SIG 1911 XR Full. The bushing is too thick to fit between the barrel and the slide.

The bushing of this brake is too thick to fit between the slide and the barrel of a SIG 1911 XR. This is the only reason I returned this item. It is very disappointing I didn't even get to try it.
