I LOVE this XS rail for my Marlin lever guns. Not only is it visually appealing, it’s rock solid!! I have mounted red dots as well as scopes with no issues. I wish XS Sighting Systems made this rail for Henry lever guns!
Solid design and good looking materials. Required a small amount of hand filing and fitting on my 30-30 Marlin 336, but that was expected from YouTube install videos. Will work great with my red dot, a small 3x optic, or XS ghost rings.
This rail is fantastic. The build quality is top notch, fit on the rifle is excellent as well. It has been rock solid so far through about 100 rounds of 30-30. Also gives a great modernized look to the rifle.
I went from standard XS Ghost Ring sights to installing the rail for an optic. It was a perfect fit. I did have some grinding to do on the bottom of the plug that aligns with the front rail screw. If not it's very tight and difficult to tap in place....
