Excellent in every way
This rail is fantastic. The build quality is top notch, fit on the rifle is excellent as well. It has been rock solid so far through about 100 rounds of 30-30. Also gives a great modernized look to the rifle.
Quality rail
I went from standard XS Ghost Ring sights to installing the rail for an optic. It was a perfect fit. I did have some grinding to do on the bottom of the plug that aligns with the front rail screw. If not it's very tight and difficult to tap in place. Other than that, everything aligned flawlessly. Very happy with this product.

Great Rail - easy install
Installed this rail on Marlin 336. This is the rail to get if you are going space cowboy with your lever action. It is very durable and the installation was smooth. Would highly recommend!

Well-made product the port holes all aligned on my 1895 marlin 45-70. Gives me plenty of options for an array optics.

As advertised
Solid design and good looking materials. Required a small amount of hand filing and fitting on my 30-30 Marlin 336, but that was expected from YouTube install videos. Will work great with my red dot, a small 3x optic, or XS ghost rings.

Stout Rail System
I LOVE this XS rail for my Marlin lever guns. Not only is it visually appealing, it’s rock solid!! I have mounted red dots as well as scopes with no issues. I wish XS Sighting Systems made this rail for Henry lever guns!

Easy to fit
I bought this for my 50's era Marlin 336 RC. It was factory drilled, so fitting was fairly easy. I recommend this product. I suggest watching the installation videos from XS. I like the fact that you can use a scout scope, red dot, regular scope or ghost ring sights.

Bought this for my Marlin 30-30 set up. So far, so good. Mount seems straight and strong. That's all I'm asking out of this product. I've shot 1 doe with this set up. Using a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 Duplex wth Weaver Tactical High rings. Nice gun now!!!
