This forward assist assembly fits right in place of the stock forward assist for AR 10 and 15. Made of aluminum and anodized blue. Completely worth the money, would buy this or any other color from XTS products.

Product Info for XTS AR-15/AR-10 Forward Assist Assembly

The XTS AR-15/AR-10 Forward Assist Assembly helps push the bolt carrier assembly off the front of the upper receiver. The forward assist on the AR10 is the same as that found on most AR-15 rifles. The XTS Forward Assist Assembly makes it easy to move the bolt carrier assembly off of the front of the upper to allow the removal of the forward assist trigger mechanism. In addition, the forward assist enables the user to move the bolt carrier group out of the way to allow manual operation of the bolt carrier.image
