This is not a two piece mount like many picatinny mounts, adapter, risers etc are. It is one piece that slides on from the rear of your AR. That means you will need to take off any other optic or back up iron sights to slide this thing on. You cannot...

I used this on my mpx k to raise my 512c up a bit so I could mount my Streamlight to the top rail without it taking up 40% of my sight picture. This helps keep the mpx k slim instead of mounting the light at 3 or 9 o'clock. If it lasts then great.
