The manufacturer does not state the OD of the Yankee Hill Machine Phantom 5.56 Q.D. Muzzle Brake 1/2x28. I recommend contacting the manufacturer for that information.
Shot a few hundred rounds using this brake (alone and in combination with the YHM 30 cal blast deflector) and was very pleased. The ratchet works great and the brake design reduces recoil when used alone. Ready for that form 4 to come back.
Yhm QD system is great....quick lockup and spring tension to hold it. This new brake is so much better looking and functional...the flash hiders are pretty...umm... Not appealing. I used one on my 556 and tried it on my m92 AK and I really liked it...
