Features of Burris Laser-Scopes - 4-12x42 Rangefinding Rifle-Scopes:

Sharp, Durable, Accurate, Affordable

First, you can count on the vivid, bright, crystal-clear optics for which Burris is world-famous. Second, you can rely on severe recoil performance that’s rock solid. Third, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better laser rangefinder. Fourth, the time-tested Burris Ballistic Plex reticle incorporated in Burris 4-12 x 42mm Rangefinding LaserScope lets you quickly range the target, hold dead on and squeeze off your shot without losing sight of your target. And, finally, you get all this at a surprisingly affordable price tag.

Yep, it looks different

Naturally enough, the Burris 4 - 12x42mm Laser-Scope - Rangefinder looks and handles a bit different from a conventional riflescope. After all, Rangefinding 4X-12X-42mm Burris LaserScope is a technologically sophisticated instrument with micro-sized advance circuitry, a precision beam splitter and exacting calibration requirements together with an ultra high performance lens system all in a package that’s designed to withstand extreme elements and severe recoil. So get used to a new look in riflescopes, and with the new look, a new level of utility and performance.

Remote Activation

Although fully functional as a self-contained single unit, Burris 4X-12X-42 Rifle Laser Scope also comes with a remote activation switch that straps to the forearm of a rifle to allow more convenient and steady operation of Burris 4-12x42 laser-scope.

Lowest Possible Mounting

Burris has developed and protected the most optimal mounting system possible for the Burris Laser Rangefinding RifleScope. This unique mount allows the lowest possible mounting of Burris LaserScope to the rifle whereas other configurations could be a full two sizes higher. That’s important because the Burris LaserScope 4 - 12 x 42mm Rangefinding Rifle-Scope, by nature of its shape, when mounted at its lowest possible mounting, compares to high rings on a conventional riflescope. So, without the unique ultra-low Burris mounting configuration, you’ll be faced with an Extra-Extra-High mount that’ll make you lift your head considerably from the stock to view through the Burris scope.

I purchased this scope to put on a Tikka T3 Tactical .308. I had it on the rifle and setup in only a few minutes. This scope mounted really easily on the rifle and sighting in was a breeze. The rangefinder will read less than the manufacturers 50 yar...

Helpful Negative Review Broken scope by Legacy Reviewer, November 29, 2010
I mounted this scope on a Browning 300WSM rifle. Two scopes broke due to the recoil of this calibre. The first scope case fractured circumferentially, the second scope stripped the picattiny mount. I would recommend this scope only for rifles that ...

Most Recent Review Heavy Recoil by Legacy Reviewer, October 30, 2010
I mounted this on 300WSM rifle, and after time, the case broke due to the heavy recoil of this calibre. The replacement broke as well. Although I recommend this scope, and will mount it on a lesser recoiling rifle in the future, I would not expect i...

Most Recent Review Excellent Combo by Legacy Reviewer, June 1, 2009
Have only used it on one hunting trip but love the ease of use. Less of a learning curve then I expected and adjustments have been easy thus far. It is a bit bulkier and heavier then a normal scope but negligible when using a bipod or rest. Pros: R...
