THIS IS NOT A LASER SIGHT!
For those who seem confused this thing isn't ment to give you zero at 100 yards. Its a tool to put you on paper. If sighted in at 25yards you can easily see the dot. This will then put you on paper at 100 yards pending your caliber.
If you want a precision laser sight or bore sight that can zero ...

Aimpoint laser bore sight in .223 20x
The batteries this product uses are expensive and last for less than 5 minutes. I sighted one rifle in with the batteries that the product came with and began sighting another rifle but that batteries died. I spent $16 on new batteries and again sighted in one rifle, and again it died while sighting...

Not useable
After receiving this package, I opened up the boresight package. The brass sight was present but there were no batteries. I contacted customer support who gave me a line about reaching out to the manufacture to fix the issue. multiple emails that they are working on it but have not found a resolution. Today they say the manufacture would not fix the issue over two weeks later. Sure, I could have gone out and bought the batteries for a few bucks but the packaging said they were included which meant I had already paid for them. Not going to pay for them twice. Will be returning the device today.

aimshot green hits the mark!
Great laser for bore sighting in scopes. I can get my customers on paper at 50yds with minimal effort. I have all the calibers for this universal, also have in red. Grab the green every time….unless I accidentally tip gun and bolt slides forward cutting battery wire! Suggest taking bolt out of gun or repair will be needed.

Awesome for father in law
Arrived before time! Great service. Tracking was great as well! Had to get something for my father in law for Christmas! he will absolutely love it! The best bullets for what he wants just can’t find it in stores. Best for the fact that I can give it to him so he can go hunting and we had a gift exchange coming up.

- Arrived ahead of time

It works, but not on a Walther Q4 TAC
Just got the AImshot 9mm laser bore-sight to help zero an RMR type 2 on a Walther Q4 TAC. The TAC comes with 3 mounting plates and the RMR fits one perfectly. Put the batteries in and it turned on it worked (pretty bright in my basement).
Although I had seen warnings about the possible futility to this I went ahead and attempted to zero the RMR. I should have headed the warnings as although the boresight turned on, the tail cap would not allow the slide to close and the gun to go into battery. This meant the barrel was slightly pointed up which made it useless for zeroing. Maybe the version with the wire would work but I worried about cutting the wire and was not sure it would close fully.
On a side note, it did work in an old Walther P-38 I have (post war). Unfortunately no easy way to put an optic on that (LOL...and I don't want to be firing it that much).

Aimshot laser bore sighter
I purchased this Aimshot laser boresighter from Cabela's about 10 or 15 years ago. I own the entire system for every caliber I use, including 12 ga shotgun. The .223 laser sight became defective & I was having trouble finding a replacement. My Internet search was sucessful
when I finally found the product at Optics Planet. My nearest rifle range is 35 miles away, so the boresighter is good for getting the firearm on paper before I make the trip. I still have to make final adjustment to the iron sights or scope at the range.

Batteries died sighting one rifle
Batteries did not last long enough to finish sighting one firearm. A new set of batteries lasted no longer. This product is a waste of money. I would be cheaper and faster to use live ammo at the range.
Pros:
- Was brite and clear...while it worked.
Cons:
- Chews through batteries too fast.
Best Used for:
- Trash can

Bad Aimshot Laser Bore Sight
Bought the .223 boresight kit to sight in my 30-06. The laser would shut off and I would have to twist the bottom to get it to come back on. After 3 sets of batteries I almost had my rifle sighted in when the laser would no longer work. I wen to the Aimshot web page to get a replacement boresight but, it doesnt appear they have any. I would not recommend it to anyone. Very poor laser quality. At 25 yards the laser dot was .25 inch in diameter.

Works and fits as advertised
I already had some for my rifles and liked them. I tried another brand that was cheaper for pistols. Should have never wasted my time with them. These work and fit your firearms like you expect them to.
I don't know where the other company gets their measurements and dimensions from for 9mm,.40S&W, and .45ACP, but, they wouldn't allow semi-auto pistols to go into battery.
