Yes. The Trijicon VCOG 1-6x24 Rifle Scope would work great with a Sig Sauer 716i. I would definitely recommend using the 7.62/308 reticle which is designed to work with the same caliber used by your 716i. That means that the hashmarks on the reticle will be accurate to your rifle. There are a couple options you can choose from that utilize the 7.62/308 reticle. Picking the right one for you comes down to preference. You can get the TA51 mount that will be a little cheaper but add some bulk and weight, or the QD mount, which will be more streamlined and lighter-weight. There are also different reticle options. Red/Green, Horseshoe, or Crosshair. Any of them will work but you may prefer one over the other.
