Vixen ED115S Telescope with Sphinx SXD Mount 25034 comes with a 4.5" APO refractor telescope that will take you imageto a new level of imaging performance. This ED apochromatic refractor features Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass in objective lenses of those Vixen telescopes to suppress chromatic aberration to a virtually invisible level. The medium f/7.7 focal ratio provide a sharp high contrast images without color fringing for both visual and photographic applications. Vixen ED115S OTA APO Telescope comes equipped with a metal carry handle for easy one-hand carrying as well as ED lenses that are made with environmently friendly technologies, free of hazardous lead that helps to support a cleaner global environment.. Astronomers with larger optical tubes and all level of astrophotographers are sure to feel right at home with the intuitive controls that so many have become accustomed to with the standard Sphinx Mount. Its 4.7" Color LCD Display gives an exact position against its scrolling star chart, any object is a point and look away!

This version of the Vixen ED115S OTA SX-Trim APO Telescope is the telescope OTA that comes with Vixen Sphinx SXD Mount 2503. Highly recommended are any of the Vixen mounts.
