WILEY X VENTILATION

Stay cool in the heat of battle while wearing the Wiley X glasses. Wiley X Top Down ventilation helps keep your eyes cool and lenses fog free. Air vents in the top of the frame direct air flow downward and out through vents in the bottom. In the stifling heat and intensity of a firefight, the last thing you need are foggy lenses.

Wiley X LIGHT ADJUSTING

In the face of danger, who has the time for lens changing? LA lenses change for you. These Wiley glasses literally adjust to the light conditions so you don't have to. In bright conditions, they are dark. As the sky darkens, the lenses lighten. Optical clarity remains perfect no matter what kind of light the day brings. And since Wiley X uses shatterproof polycarbonate, the lenses are far safer than old photochromics (glass that could shatter on impact). All in all, these Wiley X lenses are state of the visual arts.

Wiley X POLARIZED

Violet 4 AR (Anti Reflective) Coating

Adds another optical filter to each lens to eliminate back lit glare, a major cause of eye fatigue and strain.

Selenite Polycarbonate Lenses

Source of the shatterproof reliability of Wiley X lenses. Each lens is die cut from a larger lens blank to eliminate distortion and provide optical clarity at all angles. 10x more impact resistant than glass or resin lenses and easily exceeds global impact standards.

T Shell

This flexible hard coat adds an extra layer of scratch resistance to each lens for added protection and longer life. Keeps the lens from cracking or crazing to maintain clear vision.

Slick

Clear optical coating is a super hydrophobic mixture that repels water, salt water, and ice from the lens. It prevents surface spotting. This advanced coating makes smudges and stains easy to remove with soft micro fiber cloth enclosed with all Wiley X Frames.

Filter 8 Polarized Film

his proprietary film adds 99.9% polarization to 100% ultra violet protection for unequaled clarity and contrast. In conjunction with our high tech coatings, allows fantastic amount of light to reach the eyes ' pupils. Helps achieve perfect visual acuity.

Light Rust Lenses

Filters out blue light waves of your Wiley X, the chief component of glare and haze. Enhances contrast in medium to low light conditions. Light Transmission of Wiley X: 53.23%.

Smoke (Grey) Lenses

Maximum glare reduction. Won't distort colors. Excellent in bright / glare conditions. Light Transmission of Wiley X: 20.23%, 13.40% Polarized.

Copper Lenses

Great lens to curb glare and enhance contrast of colors found in various global terrains. Light Transmission: 18.17% Polarized.

Smoke Green Lenses

Maximum glare reduction without distorting colors. Great for general daytime use. Light Transmission of Wiley X: 21.09%, 19.03% Polarized.

Wiley Lenses

Maximum light transmission. See precise color values. Hazy or overcast, dusk / dawn condition. Light Transmission of wiley X : 89.30%.

LA Light Adjustment Lenses

Darken as the brightness of the sun dictates. These are photochromic lenses that darken on bright days, clear on overcast days. Maximize optical clarity. Shatterproof. Light Transmission of Wiley X : 85% to 17% (in sunlight).

Bronze Brown Lenses

Get superior visual definition from your Wiley X sunglasses. Increase contrast, enhance ground level contours in most light conditions. Light Transmission of Wiley X: 20.15%, 19.25% Bronze Flash, 19.05% Bronze Brown Flash.

Silver Flash Mirror Lenses

Multi coat Z oxide mirror over smoke lens. Reduces glare. Excellent on bright days. Light Transmission of Wiley X: 7.19%, 9.60% Polarized.

Wiley X then adds the exact amount of dyes needed to eliminate eye fatigue and strain. All Wiley X lenses block 100% of the suns harmful UVA and UVB rays (up to 400 nanometers).
