Does SureFire offer a remote-switch tail cap assembly for this light that would let you convert it into a remote-operated weapon-mounted light?

The current G2X LE has 600 lumens. Is this the current 600 lumen model? Or is this the older 400 lumen model?

Does the led bulb stay lit when the flashlight is not in use? The small led square stays activated on mine.

No, the light should not remain on when the flashlight is turned off.

SureFire describes the function as

A click-style tactical tailcap switch controls the light’s output — simply press or click to unleash all 600 lumens in momentary or constant-on mode. Return to off and press or click again within two seconds for G2X LE’s lower-output 15-lumen beam.

On the average how many hours do the batteries last with the different type of batteries?

This only uses CR123 batteries, the run time is 1.5 hours on high and 52 hours on low.

what is the body diameter? I would like to mount it on my AR mount that is 1"

The barrel is just under 1", so it will not fit securely in normal light mounting rings. Some customers however have used a rubber liner to tighten the ring's grip enough to mount it.

The battery will run on high for 2.25 hours and on low for 45 hours.
