Most Helpful Positive Review Protection, food and fun
I shoot feral hogs that destroy crops on my farm every night. For that reason I made up my mind to spend a good sum on a very good nv rifle scope. I chose Armasight Vulcan and has been really happy with its image quality and operation. Very reliable unit.. Really good for precise long distance shooting. Now I can secure my farm from that damage pigs do, I get food and lots of fun with this great device

Great budget scope!

by onetrue1, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on December 1, 2023
For a true GEN3 scope, you can't beat it for the money. Clean image, great mount, built like a tank, light weight "for a night vision scope". This shockproof and waterproof riflescope incorporates multicoated all-glass lenses for superior IR light transmission and is purged and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent fogging. Complete with tactical rails for attaching IR lasers or illuminators.

GREAT PRICE ON GREAT PRODUCT

by Ricky Barnwartz, from TX, United States Written on October 16, 2021
Great tube quality with no noticeable artifacts, dings, or scratches. Product came with manual, pouch, and IR light with battery and charger. I took off a point because it did not come with the X2 magnifier. This was a disappointment because it seems to be an advertised part of the sale, otherwise it was well worth the price.

This is my third favorite night vision product

by El Segundo, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on November 20, 2019
The reason the Vulcan is third is due to me beilng constrained by distance. Most of my shooting is done on my small parcel (2 acres) but if I lived on 40 acres then the Vulcan would be number #2. Number 1 is my Thermal sight Armasight Zeus 2 640 and nothing can hide from that! The Vulcan is heavily proteccted in the typical Armasight fasion. With a current inventory of 8 night vision sights (ATN, Pulsar. sightmark and OPMOD PVS7) I have found Armasight to build high quality and durable products made to working in harsh environments and the Vulcan is no exception. I liked the simplicity of the Vulcan,. the image quality is very good but the magnification of 3.5 is restrictive in my small shooting area.
Pros:
  • high quality Gen 3 Alfa tube., solid quality optics
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • If you need one night vision scope for longer shots over 50 yards

Excellent high quality rugged light weight night vision scope A+A+A+A+A+

by Doc, from IL, United States Written on May 15, 2019
I been using this scope for over the last two years now in various ruff conditions, mostly cold and wet and a lot of banging around. This scope 0's out both on my AR15 rifle then on top of my AR10 as if it seems it was made for these 2 flat top rifles. Can reach in the pitch black darkness over cast no moon with unbelievable excellent clarity using it at 350 yards. This scope has capability's to go way more. I feel safe at stretching out to 350 yards for the feral hogs. I have had not any failures with this scope other than low charged batteries in over 1k hrs of run time with it. It is a light, rugged & tough, versatile and very trusting reliable scope. Well worth the money. This scope is what a Night Vision scope should be. I commend the 3.5 design with a 2x multiplier and quality Gen 3 tube as this is what the doctor ordered...
Pros:
  • Rugged & Tough, lightweight extremely high quality night scope
Cons:
  • Watch your batteries keep spares with you
Best Used for:
  • Feral Hogs do not know what hit'em
