I got this to replace the ar 500 anti spall bag that i had. I failed to realize this isn’t enveloped or incased. What i mean by that is only the front is protected. The AR 500 one has anti spall protection that goes up and over around to the back. Granted only the top third but it stops fragmentation from going straight up into ur neck. What I ended up doing was incorporating spartans system with my AR500 system. Now i have protection across the whole front(spartan) and protection from the enveloped style system of the AR500. Hard to say its a good or bad product. Id recommend doing what i did but it makes a heavy set up even heavier. Especially if you already have build up coat like i do
