These followers are a great and cheap upgrade that fit well. I bought the fde one for my 590 just for esthetic and appearance and liked it a lot. I recently purchased another mossberg shotgun for hunting and i wanted to get one of the brighter colors for safety reasons to have a solid visual that my tube was empty so i got the titan color. My mistake was not noticing that this color in person looks A LOT like shiny brass and could potentially fool you into thinking your tube has a shell in it on a quick glance. Both the fde and titan colors i would NOT recommend if you want a discernible color. If i could do it over again i would buy red for both my shotguns.

Bright red, shows empty magazine. Easy install. I'll never understand why Manufacturers don't provide this. I change out all of my shotgun followers.

This is an easy, affordable, and simple upgrade to any shotgun with a plastic factory follower. The hollow design provides ample room for many types and diameters of magazine springs. The color will eventually wear off on the sides but will stay visible on the face. With an aluminum body it will not score steel magazine tubes and will last for thousands of rounds. Only design improvement would be some kind of small hole, texture, or bumps on the face to be a tactile indicator when empty. The small triangle indents cannot be felt with gloves.

I own many Strike Industries accessories and I'm never disappointed in the quality of the product. This simple follower is no different. It's metal, not plastic and runs smoothly as it should. Love the fact it is a great indicator of no remaining shells. Important item for safety. The bright color makes it easy to see this follower. The issue I have is shipping options. I waited weeks for this product shipped via USPS. Currently, shipping USPS might as well be a shipping the product into a black hole. I filed a claim with USPS. Useless. They could care less. I finally ended up calling Optics Planet. After that phone call I had it two days later. I wish Optics Planet would work out better shipping options with reliable carriers like UPS and FedX. I'm not willing to pay $35 for shipping an item of this nature. But I would be willing to pay $10. Other companies offer these types of rates. Why can't you"

Installed on an older 12ga Remington 1100 with an extended tube. I've run about 25 or 30 rnds through it thus far. Easy to see, moves freely but doesn't wobble. Zero hangups loading or running. Like it a lot better than the one the tube extension came with.

Oh is it sweet! Took about 5 minutes from start to finish. Haven’t fired the weapon to see it work in action. Seems to slide just fine with dummy rounds.

I got this for my Remington 870 express tactical and it was a promising upgrade from the plastic piece it came with, great quality and color was spot on!

The stock follower is cheap flimsy plastic. It has a good possibility that it could crack or break over time. Why not replace it with something that is sturdy and will last the lifetime as all the other parts on the gun. Installation was a breeze. This is what the manufacturer should have done in the first place.
