great tail cap
Worked very well in conjunction with my arisaka light and malkoff head WML. I prefer this light control over pressure pads that may be prone to accidental discharge. Really good product especially for the money, Considering that everything surefire tends to be rather expensive

Surefire Z68 tail cap
If you have a scout light with a momentary tail cap and do not care for it, the Surefire Z68 is a good replacement. It can be used as a momentary button or press harder and it will click to the on position. Unscrew the cap a little and it prevents the light from an unintentional discharge while being in a case or just normal handling.

- Momentary AND constant on.
- click style on/off if wanted

Surefire Z68 tail cap
I bought a scout light with a momentary cap, twist for constant light. I was not happy with it and it did not have a good lock out when backed off. The Surefire Z68 clicky style tail cap has enough resistance in the button for good momentary use. Push a little harder and it clicks to constant on. Back off the cap a little bit and the light is locked out and will not turn on.

TAN color! Not black.
Five star Surefire quality. Minus three stars because item listing does not disclose these are TAN not black. The letters TN in item number are the hint, but never does the item listing state these are tan. Not unusual for optics planet to miss this somewhat important bit of info. Now I have a two tone Surefire!

Butt Protector
This a review for the SF protective rear cap switch. As always, SF products are always solid. The tail cap works for what it is intended to do and that is to keep the switch from accidentally activating when not in use. If you choose to buy from Amazon or EBAY, be careful for FAKES.
