Product Info for Brunton Transit Axis

Brunton Transit Axis is there to help you calculate vertical angles, distances, and more with its compact, lightweight design that fits easily in your pocket. This easy-to-use tool was built for geologists, by geologists. It was built with an innovative dual-axis, hollow hinge that allows for highly intuitive, efficient, and accurate measurements of planes, lines, bearings, and vertical angles. Because North is always oriented along the main hinge, you can calculate strike and dip by simply moving the compass along the main axis, or by sighting the arrowhead along the minor axis. There is no need to have several transits for different purposes; the Brunton Transit Axis can do it all!image
