Seems very sturdy and the pivot operation is very smooth. I am using it with a romeo5 red dot on a Daniel Defense mount. The centerline height is not identical but it’s close enough to center the red dot in the magnifier.

This Pivot Ring by the expert engineers at Burris is designed for the AR-15 style carbines firing the .223 Rem or 5.56 Nato cartridges.
