will this sit against the mag-well when mounted to a M-Lok system where the rail ends 2.5 inches in front of the mag-well? Expert Answer

It will likely fit very close to the front of the magwell, but it really depends on the handguard, the accessory rail mounted to it and the specifics of your overall build.

Command Arms Rail-Mounted Ergonomic CQB Grip MGRIP1 is made to mount just in front of your magazine, and is designed for CQB situations. The finger grooves of the CAA Rail-Mount Mag Grip allow for increased control of the weapon, especially under adverse conditions. This Command Arms grip features two removable pressure switch mounting covers. The Command Arms MGRIP1 Weapon Grip mounts securely to any Picatinny rail, and includes side rails to assist in guiding magazines into the well, as well as a plug-capped waterproof storage space for batteries. The CAA MGRIP1 Fore End Grip is NTOA approved!image
