The Canik TP9v2 and TP40v2 pistols are dimensionally the same as the original TP9 pistol with several improvements. The grip has been textured, the front strap straightened, the palm-swell has been extended and the trigger guard is been squared. These changes give the gun much better accessibility for a gloved hand. The accessory rail is now mil-spec and the sights have a smoother Novak style profile. The slide has a Cerakote finish. While the version 2 still has a striker status indicator at the rear of the slide, the loaded-chamber indicator on the top of the slide has been dropped.![]()
