Product Info for CoolFire Trainer S&W M&P .40 Cal 4.25in Coolfire System
The combo of a high powered CO2 cartridge and a .40 cal/ 4.25in barrel delivers one of the most accurate methods of training there is. This system converts your M&P 40 into a CO2 powered gun. Unlike ordinary CO2 training, CoolFire's proprietary dry firing system delivers zero recoil, which makes it a favorite of law enforcement agencies and civilian training grounds. Unlike a CO2 powered pistol, however, the striker delivers only a fraction of the force required to fire the pistol. It generates all the force required to fire the pistol, but only uses a small fraction of the ammo. It is an expensive and dangerous undertaking to replace your regular recoil system, and convert your training gun into a real firearm, which is a big deal! The CoolFire M&P 40 4.25in works with most factory magazines, but will work with most aftermarket slide block magazines as well. The system accounts for the recoil impulse of the shooter's natural firing mechanism, eliminating the slam and bang principle, and retaining most of the accuracy of shooting the pistol the original way. This system delivers excellent training capabilities to simulate all situations in which a firearm is capable. From law enforcement training to military and law enforcement scenarios, CO2 power is the driving force behind CoolFire's industry-leading dry fire training products. All CoolFire power sources are CO2 cartridges compressed into inert gas and converted into CO2 power. The difference between a live firearm and a CO2 powered training firearm is that a live round fired from a real firearm causes the recoil impulse of the live round to strike the striker tip. This produces an extremely safe environment inside the pistol.
