The CRKT Grandpa's Favorite Knife originated as a custom one-off for a good friend of knife designer Russ Kommer, and ended up as a terrific fixed blade hunting knife that you can own yourself. This CRKT skinner knife has a full-tang fixed blade of 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel with stainless steel bolsters, both mirror polished for ease of cleaning. Blade length is 3.15". The CRKT 2845 Knife features traditional stag scales with brass pins.
With the CRKT Granpa's Favorite Skinner Knife, you'll be safe and secure knowing that whatever you may run into out in the field you will be prepared with not only a great knife for hunting and skinning, but also a couple of shots on the sheath ready to go at a moment's notice. The CRKT Grandpa's Favorite sheath sits horizontally for a more compact means of storage that won't interfere with your gear, and has storage for two shotgun shells - just in case.
