Built to our exacting standards the Coronado SolarMax 60 solar telescope II provides the user a telescope with the same lightweight portability of the Coronado SolarMax 40 telescope but the extra aperture greatly increases the resolution of detail on the surface and on the limb. With over twice the surface area of the SolarMax 40 telescope the difference is obvious.image

Solar Max II 60 Telescopes feature innovative RichView tuning technology, allowing the observer to directly tune the primary filter etalon. This direct tuning will give you high contrast views and impressive range to view active regions, flares, filaments and other sun surface activity in incredible detail. No other commercial Ha telescope boasts the extraordinary range and accuracy of SolarMax II 60 Solarscopes.
