Product Info for Daniel Defense MK18 Rail Interface System II, RIS II
The Daniel Defense MK18 Rail Interface System was designed specifically to allow individual operators to free float M203 grenade launchers without the need for additional parts or special tools. These AR Handguards & Forends by Daniel Defense are built with attention to detail and high quality materials for performance and durability. The Daniel Defense MK18 R.I.S. II free floats a standard M203 grenade launcher and does so with a system that does not require drilling, port maintenance, or permanent modification to the host weapon. The free float feature was engineered in as part of the rail itself. This eliminates the need for additional rail sections and associated costs. The gas port and stress relieved metal surfaces of the rail prevent heat related damage to the weapon and its components. This rail is air tight and has an extreme tolerance and strength to prevent damage to the weapon and its reputation. The rail features an ambidextrous sling swivel studs on the rail allow for monopod operation. Integrate the rail into your existing platform with the Daniel Defense MK18 Rail Interface System II.
