Love this Machete! It performs tasks way bigger than it is in size! The thickness of the blades makes standard machetes bend in fear. Theres no bending this guy! From chopping wood, to clearing the trail, the fury is with me at every trip to camp!

The scales on the grip is very uncomfortable, that were not sanded on the edges at all. The coating on the blade is scratched. The best part was the packaging!! They should address that much detail to the machete!!

Product Info for DoubleStar Fury Machete

At DoubleStar we know that a long standing weapon of choice for third world nations is the machete or cane knife. Rob Cabrera of Filo Bladeworks dove into research and developed the Fury to combat, overpower, and outclass these weapons. Our goal is to make it part of the kit for our door kickers around the world. As a Kali practitioner and a retired land surveyor with over 20 years in the field, we knew that Mr. Cabrera had more than enough hours swinging a machete to know its strengths and weaknesses. The majority of production machetes are made from .089-.125 thick spring steel, so we chose to go with .285 thick S7 Tool Steel. S7 tool steel is characterized by a very high impact toughness and resistance to shock load. We decided the Fury needed to be heavy enough for light breeching, but still lightweight enough to be usable in close quarters and keep on your person. Furthermore, this design needed to be cutting edge with a stylish but functional profileimage
