Product Info for DPM Mechanical Recol Gen 4 Reduction System

This system operates through an intricate multi-spring rod, consisting of three springs, to control the functionality of the pistol. Notably, the third spring, housed within the rod, plays a crucial role in regulating the slide's movement to prevent it from slamming into the frame. The system is comprised of two washers of different lengths and two external springs.image

The washers exclusively affect the buffer force in the slide's full open position, while the external springs exclusively influence the slide's closed position, ensuring it's in the correct battery position. The shorter washer provides a lighter buffer effect, whereas the longest washer delivers the heaviest buffer effect. Furthermore, the external springs also differ in length, with the longer one contributing to heavier slide travel and a more secure lock-up compared to the shorter spring.
