Will your gunrunner backpack accept a model 700 Remington 3006 with a Lyman 3-9 variable scope. Expert Answer

That depends on your set up. The scabbards length is 34" so if you measure the rifle from the end of the barrel up 34" and its at least past the action, your rifle should fit fine.

Used it during hunting season to take a fairly heavy long and heavy gun to a spot overlooking a large field and was quite easy for the hike enjoyed it a lot held a large fluffy suit for tree stand sit well made the walk in easier.
