The quality of this product is just fine. As is true with most gun parts produced by Ed Brown. However, the description tates that it fits Full Size S&W M&P 2.0 5" barrel. It simply dies not. It us much too short.

So in an update from my earlier review, this particular guide rod. It is truly amazing. After 2k rounds I’ve had no issues and it changes the feel to a much less violent recoil and much smoother shooting

This guide rod is precision CNC machined from the highest quality stainless steel and heat treated for a lifetime of usage. Includes a solid stainless steel cap with Black Nitride finish. The double hole design allows quick and easy spring changes, or have multiple assemblies with alternative spring weights ready to drop in for use with suppressor or different loads. (2) 1/16in wrenches are included.
