Fantastic guide rods - Ed Brown Products Smith & Wesson M&P Guide Rod Assembly

These guide rods are great. Similar weight to stock yet more durable material, better springs, and better design overall. The readily removable twist on cap is nice because it has super deep threading ensuring it’s not just going to fly off during recoil ESPECIALLY if you dip it into VC-3 thread locker - it won’t come off unless you want it to. That said I was a little disappointed to learn that it does NOT come with two faceplates a silver and black the new models now only come with one - a black. It would’ve been nice to get the silver because I run an Apex barrel and the silver button front face would’ve matched nicely. That said this thing has performed flawlessly for thousands of rounds and I like that I can get different spring weights like my preferred #15lb spring vs the over spring stock 17lb spring. Don’t listen to the other reviewers, I’ve now bought 3 of these so I can just swap em out easily if I want between different loads, but once those springs are worn out: boom pop em off and put on a new one and go. Love it
