I had to hammer these parts into my Bulgarian milled receiver, use a vice, wide chisel and channel locks to twist the top portion in, but I know why. These parts are intended to hold anything, including lasers, so they need to stay put, and they do!

The FAB Defense AK-47 Vanguard M-LOK Handguard System sports a slim yet rugged design built to handle whatever comes its way. FAB Defense constructed these AK Handguards from durable polymer and added an innovative heatshield for optimal thermal insulation. Each FAB Defense AK-47/AKM/AK-74 Vanguard Handguard System features two integrated QD sling swivel sockets for seamless sling attachment. There are also M-LOK slots on the 12 and 6 o'clock positions for adding optics and grips, and the M-LOK slots at the 2, 4, 8 and 10 o'clock positions are perfect for attaching other accessories like lights and lasers.
