I have an polish akm .the lower handguard did not slide in all the way .but after taking a sander to the inner edge it worked perfectly .

Fits perfectly, rock solid, plus looks awesome on my Draco 9s. As usual Optics Planet’s price, shipping, and service can’t be beat!

I was told this handguard fits the BFT47 but it does not. Will need to be modified in order to fit.

This handguard won’t fit Polish WBP Jack. You’d have to do a lot of work to make it happened. Appears to be a good quality part and fairly priced though

Ok, not a fan of mlok, but this came with picatinny inserts, and I like options. QD mount is in a weird place, I'd like it on the other end, but it works, and with the MLOK you can add another wherever, don't get caught up on the small details. I didn't use the upper as I ordered the "cheese grater" type off the Zastava website. The lower needs modified. The front of the lower needs shaved down in areas to fit, but use sand paper and make sure it's snug, not a huge deal, rather have tight than loose fitting. The the rear needs about an 1/8 inch off each side to have the metal retainer fit into the hand guard. Here's the kicker, the handguard is like 1/8 too short. I welded a piece of plate steel to take up the room. After that, fits perfect. Would I buy again, eh, maybe. I know what to do now to make it fit. Don't order unless you're handy and know how to weld.

Too big to fit on a WASR-10, and the material is too cheap to risk banging on it with a rubber mallet. Be prepared to baby this handguard, as it feels as if a drop will crack it.

This FAB defense handguard-set would fit neither my Century C39 nor my Pioneer Arm's Sporter. Sadly, there was zero way to make the lower handguard fit, even with hours of "fitting" and research on the problem.

The lower guard, like most aftermarket polymer AK lower-guards, has a curved recess/slot in the plastic meant to encompass/fit the lips of the lower handguard cap (on wooden and OEM plastic lower guards, the cap simply goes around the guard, but on aftermarket polymer ones, they usually try to fit the cap into a slot encompassing the cap's lips).

However, even without boring the slot wider, a hammer enabled me to get the cap into/onto the guard completely - but even seated fully, the cap was not back far enough to reach the barrel-cut that the cap locks into place on. So even the flats and slot need to be moved back aput a half centered to allow the lower-guard's cap to lock into place. So, insane amount of "fitting", with harsh to fit d tools would be the only fix.

Unfortunately, the recess (and the flat surfaces the extends beyond the slot) is both too narrow and too shallow for the rifles lower cap to seat back far enough on FAB defense's lower-guard. The slot's shallowness (even when bored out with a filing tool so it clfit the into the slot at all) prevents the handguard cap from reaching the barrel-cut where the cap must lock into place on.

Being curved makes altering ("fitting") the recess very difficult - with the shallowness of the recess being its ultimat...

Handguard mainly went on easily. I had to do a very minor amount of filing and shaping, but when do you not with ak parts.

Very little filing required on a true to spec ak74m-100 series, and did not obstruct my folding stock (standard Russian length solid stock)
