Russian militaria enthusiast's Review of FAB Defense AK-47 Vanguard M-LOK Handguard System
Bought this for my wasr and I'm a bit dissatisfied. It looks great, but that's where the good ends. The fit was ATROCIOUS, requiring both Dremel and bench grinder work. Even after all that it was so snug the upper and lower wouldn't snap together once on the rifle. It required so much force on the gas tube lever that I bent my tool. Also, a chunk of polymer fell out of the top from some basic rubber mallet taps. Feel like the price is about 3x too high for the quality.
Pros:
- Looks great, good ergonomics, good placement of m-lok slots
Cons:
- Terrible fit requiring a lot of work just to install. Too fragile for an ak part by far. Rail sections should go directly in the garbage right out of the package
