The Forensics Source SafeFume Fully-Automatic Fingerprint Processing Chamber CA30S has been developed to protect crime scene personnel from the hazardous fumes generated from cyanoacrylates generated using the widely recognized technique of developing prints on most non-porous surfaces with Ethyl Cyanoacrylate (CNA) or super-glue. The unique Forensics Source SafeFume Chamber fully automatic processing, control and monitoring makes the development of fingerprints impressively simple. The super-glue is placed inside the chamber while evidence is easily positioned using the adjustable hanging rods and shelving system. Press the cycle start button and the cabinet's automated operations takes over. The computerized system on the Forensics Source SafeFume controls the hotplate, humidity, door lock, internal circulation fan, and purge cycle. Instead of external venting, the cabinet uses a large capacity activated carbon filter to remove all excess fumes with an alarm to alert the operator when the filter needs changing.image
